Schbot Robotics, Estonia's leading robotic retailer, recently celebrated a remarkable achievement: in two years, the company opened eight stores in Estonia and surpassed the 10 000 customer mark. The newest outlet was opened in the Tammsaare Business Centre, successfully completing a period of rapid expansion that began in September 2019 in the Rocca Al Mare Centre.

An innovative approach to outlets

According to Maarius Tiits, Member of the Management Board of Schbot Robotics, the rapid growth has been based on bold and well thought-out decisions. "We opened our outlets in the atriums of major shopping centres, allowing customers to view, test and experiment with home robots. This is something that traditional retail stores often don't offer," said Tiits.

This modern and customer-centric approach has increased the company's visibility and credibility. In addition, Schbot's staff have been thoroughly trained to be true robotics experts who can offer valuable advice to every visitor.

Growing the global customer base

Schbot's success has not been limited to Estonia. The use of digital solutions has enabled the company to reach customers around the world. "Our online shop and digital platforms have shaped us into an international brand. Allowing customers to shop in minutes, regardless of time or location, has become the new standard," Tiits added.

Innovations and success stories

Schbot's aim is not just to sell robots, but also to value people's time. Home robots help to create cleaner homes and offices, allowing people to focus on more important things. During the virus pandemic, the demand for home cleaning robots has increased significantly.

In addition to robots, Schbot has made great strides in working with businesses. For example, Schbot Maxima Estonia organised a consumer game that was seen everywhere - on TV, radio, digital channels and the streets. According to Tiits, the campaign exceeded the goals of both parties.

The future and international expansion

  1. In 2007, Schbot Robotics participated in the SEB Growth Programme, where only 15 fast-growing companies were selected. As part of this programme, Schbot carried out a survey of the German market, which revealed that 63% of the German population do not yet own a robot vacuum cleaner, but more than 50% would prefer robots in the €500-700 price range. This coincides with Schbot's pricing policy for its products, providing a strong basis for international expansion.

The secret of success

Schbot Robotics' journey to open eight stores in Estonia is based on a combination of strong foundations: the best products, excellent customer service, a dedicated team and a loyal customer base. "We are proud to be the largest robotic retailer in Estonia. The combination of the best quality, service and staff is the key to our success," said Tiits.
