Processing of personal data
Schbot Robotics OÜ is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and users. Accordingly, we have created this Privacy Policy to govern the collection, use, disclosure, transfer and storage of customer information. Our activities on the Internet are in compliance with all relevant practices and relevant European Union legislation and the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
Collection and use of personal data
Personal data is data that Schbot Robotics OÜ collects in the course of performing a contract with or contacting an individual. Personal data of a loyal customer may be collected in the following ways:
- when you provide us with contact information (including your name, personal identification number, postal address, telephone number, email address, preferred method of contact) on our website or elsewhere (e.g. in stores).
- when using the website, from the customer's account information or through cookies.
- when making a purchase or placing an order in our store or e-shop, storing personal contact information or information about purchasing preferences (Schbot Robotics LLC may ask you to voluntarily provide personal information and personal data in certain areas of the website. Personal information requested may include name, address, postal code, e-mail address, telephone number and other information).
- when submitting a request for instalments

We also collect non-personal data - data that cannot be directly linked to a specific individual (gender, age, language preference, location). We may also collect information about general customer activities on our website. This data is aggregated and used to help us provide more useful information to our customers and to learn which parts of our website, products and services are of most interest to them. Aggregate information is treated as non-personally identifiable information in this Privacy Policy.
Use of personal data collected and legal basis
The personal data we collect helps us to inform customers about Schbot product news, promotions and upcoming events. A customer who does not wish to be on our newsletter list or to receive notifications about products that may be of interest to them can opt out at any time. The personal data collected will also be used for the delivery of goods and to fulfil our commitments to the customer.
In order to better serve the customer, Schbot Robotics OÜ may disclose information about individual users to a third party that provides services to Schbot Robotics OÜ and is contractually obligated to keep the shared information confidential. An example of a third party is a partner of ours who is responsible for transporting the goods sold in the e-shop or providing a hire purchase service.
The Merchant shall keep confidential the personal data of the Customer, which have become known to it in the course of the registration and use of the User Account, and shall disclose them to third parties only with the Customer's consent, unless the obligation or right to disclose the data arises from legislation. The user of the e-shop agrees that the trader has the right to process his/her personal data in order to provide the customer with the appropriate services, including the transmission of the customer's data to persons connected with the provision of the service by the trader to the customer.
We also process your personal data to comply with a legal obligation... For example, legal obligations to process payments or comply with money laundering rules. In addition, we may be required by law to process a video recording for an investigative authority specified by law.
If personal data are processed for a purpose other than the purpose for which the personal data were collected, we will carefully analyse the possibility of such processing in accordance with data protection legislation (General Data Protection Regulation, 2016/679, Article 6(4).

Modification of collected personal data
The personal data collected for the purpose of identifying and contacting you can be viewed, modified and updated on our website in the "My Information" section. In the event of a change of e-mail address (user ID on the Schbot website), we ask you to inform us, as it is not possible for the customer to change it himself.
Protection of personal data
Schbot Robotics OÜ takes all precautions (including administrative, technical and physical measures) to protect the customer's personal data. Access to modify and process data is restricted to authorised persons.
Security
Any personal information disclosed to Schbot during the course of a customer's visit to the Schbot e-shop and during the purchase process will be treated as confidential information. An encrypted data communication channel with banks ensures the security of the purchaser's personal data and bank transactions.
Personal data is stored on Microsoft Azure servers located in the territory of a Member State of the European Union or a country that is a member of the European Economic Area. Data may be transferred to countries whose level of data protection has been assessed as adequate by the European Commission and to companies in the United States that have signed up to the Privacy Shield framework.
The e-shop implements appropriate physical, organisational and IT security measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorised access and disclosure.
Transfers of personal data to processors of the e-shop - The processing of personal data is based on contracts between the e-shop and the processors. The processors are obliged to ensure appropriate safeguards when processing personal data.
Privacy Policy terms and conditions and changes
By accessing our website or completing a loyalty application, you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change the general terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, if necessary, by notifying all loyal customers. Please contact us at info@schbot.ee with any questions or concerns about the Privacy Policy or data processing.
Accessing and correcting personal data
Personal data stored in the e-shop can be accessed and corrected in the e-shop account management. If a purchase is made as a guest (without a user account), personal data can be queried in the general email.
Withdrawal of consent
If the processing of personal data is based on the customer's consent, the customer has the right to withdraw the consent in the e-shop account management.
Storage
When you close your e-shop customer account, your personal data will be deleted, unless such data needs to be stored for accounting purposes or to resolve consumer disputes.
If the purchase is made online as a guest (without a user account), the personalised purchase history is kept for three years.
In the case of disputes relating to payments and consumer disputes, personal data will be kept until the claim is settled or the limitation period expires (three years).
Personal data necessary for accounting purposes are kept for seven years.
Deletion
The personal data stored in the e-shop, including the user account, can be deleted in the e-shop account management.
For other personal data deletion requests, you can submit a data request by emailing info@schbot.ee. A reply to the request for deletion will be given within one month at the latest and, if necessary, the period of deletion will be specified.

Authentication and navigation
Each time you log in to your Schbot account, a session cookie is generated that allows you to stay logged in on all pages of the site; these cookies are essential for managing the purchase process.
